Forum ratifies a public forum and a program on the constraints of the spread of democracy cuture 2007-08-02
WFRT – Sana’a Office has held a meeting to discuss the strategy and work plan of the office during the coming period, reviewing a number of projects planned for, in order to create an active and fruitful communication with the organizations and human rights activists.
The meeting endorsed the establishment of a public forum at the Office of Sanaa, to discuss issues of human rights, political, cultural, artistic and social interest of Yemeni society, and promotes a culture of dialogue. The agenda set for WFRT – Sana’a Office has included hosting researchers and specialists in democracy, human rights, … etc.
WFRT – Sana’a Office will work on the establishment of a program to discuss the obstacles that stand in the way of the spread of the democracy culture and awareness in the Yemeni society.
The tasks have been appointed to all staff members at the WFRT – Sana’a Office as follows:
Abdel Rahman Ahmed Abdo: Director of WFRT Sana’a Office Director of the Forum.
Noureddine Azazi: Director of the Research Program of impediments of the spread of the Democracy Culture and Awareness.
Ezzat Mustafa: News and Web Site Editor.
Elsa Mahmoud: Office Secretary.
The team of the Office of Sana'a Forum has invited all of the organizations and associations working in Sanaa, researchers and interested parties to create a continuous communication with the Office of WFRT, which would enrich the fruitful cooperation to serve the issues of human rights and democracy.
